My first time on the streets

It was an early tuesday afternoon at the ministers conference in Laax, Switzerland and a long meeting had just finnished. My friend Jana came up to me and asked me if I would like to go outside and try the script out. I was just about to throw the idea out of my mind because I knew I couldn't do it alone. But God had something in store for me. So of course I said "Yes! I'd love too!"  That's how it started.
We finally went outside and saw a group of teenagers outside a bus. She said "Why don't we start with a group?" I went along with whatever she said :) By the time we reached them, they had gotten into the bus. So Jana decides to go in the bus and talk to all the teens in there! I estimated around 30 people in the bus. All she did was read the script with confidence and meaning. In the end of the script, there is a prayer of salvation. Four young teenagers prayed with her in front of their friends! That really touched me!
She said that I needed to do the next ones. This meant to speak to two ladies standing at the bus stop talking. I walked up and asked the first question: "Has anyone ever told you that God loves you and had a wonderful plan for your life?" Sadly, I can't remember what they answered. But, I do know that they accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. One of the girls even had teary eyes. Praise God for growing his kingdom of Glory!
I still remember the exact place where I prayed with a young teenage girl from Bern to receive Christ. She was very excited and extremely sweet! She thanked me and I gave her a script to talk about it with her friends, she proudly accepted the offer and we went seperate ways.
The highlight of the day were two elderly men walking up the hill. After we prayed together, they were so elated to know now that they are on their way to heaven! The one guy said something like: "I know that I am very close to going to heaven. I know I will see Jesus and heaaven soon and I'm so glad to know I'm going there and not to hell." Both men believed they were on their way heaven because they're nice people and lived a good life. I was able to show them that the bible says that we have eternal life because of the gift of Jesus, God's own son. Again they thanked us, such pretty young ladies for opening the way to heaven for them. We gave each of them a script for them to tell their families. We left them with a "God bless you!"
Do you see what happenned there? Imagine how it impacted me to have shared my faith with some people that day and to have 5 people pray with me! Imagine that! God reached out to them through ME! It still overwhelmes me to write or think about it! If you ever get the chance to tell people about Jesus, and believe me you do everytime you see someone, DO IT! You don't need to be afraid! You have the courage of GOD! Obey him and go out and preach the Gospel to every creature because that is what Jesus told you to do!
